TECSA Srl, as part of the consolidation of its activities in the field of functional safety in the process industry and of its privileged relationship as channel partner for Italy with the company exida LLC, worldwide leader in this sector, increases its budget of tools for supporting SIL studies (IEC 61508 and 61511) with the integrated exSILentia Ultimate version, just released in version 4.1. exSILentia, whose description is shown in the attached flyer. exSILentia is nowadays the best tool for advanced functional safety activities and, in the newly released version, constitutes a perfectly integrated suite for performing checks of compliance with the requirements of the reference standard and for the preparation of preliminary risk analyzes (PHA, HAZOP and LOPA), conceptual and design safety requirements specifications (SRS), SIL classification and verification, engineering of instrumented safety functions, cost-benefit assessment and costs over time during the life cycle of the SIF, assessments of adequacy and rationalization of alarms (ISA 18.2 and EEMUA 191). 4.1 version brings the integration of information to an even greater level, allowing for unrivalled productivity in consulting activities connected with single phases or with the entire life cycle of functional safety.
