On 1 October 2026, Florence will host, at the Auditorium Florence Learning Center, a new fire prevention update seminar promoted by Safety Village, under the patronage of the Order of Industrial Experts and Graduate Industrial Experts of the Province of Florence.
The event, titled “Fire prevention between regulation, innovation, responsibility and systemic vision. Fire Safety Engineering: vision and skills to guide the complexity of change”, will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will address the main themes related to the evolution of Fire & Life Safety, with particular focus on the shift from a predominantly prescriptive regulatory approach to a performance-based one.
Among the speakers of the first panel is Luca Fiorentini (Engineer, Executive Director of TECSA), who will contribute with the presentation “From risk identification to performance definition. Considerations on emerging risks”, dedicated to the criteria for identifying and assessing emerging risks in fire safety design.
The seminar, free of charge until seats are filled and subject to mandatory registration, grants 6 CPD credits to Engineers, Architects, Industrial Experts and Surveyors.
