Luca Fiorentini assumes the role of Vice President of the Italian Association of Fire Fighting Engineering (AIIA – SFPE Italy), an Italian chapter of the prestigious Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
Luca Fiorentini, Director of TECSA S.r.l., is already active internationally with SFPE.
In particular, he participates:
- to the working group ‘Fire risk’ responsible for the new edition of the authoritative “Engineering Guide to Fire Risk Assessment” which is one of the main international technical references
- for the implementation of fire risk assessments;
- to the technical commission “Research, Tools and Methods” (RTM);
- to the international working group “Innovation and Emerging Technology Working Group” (IETWG).
He is also a member of the editorial board of Fire Protection Magazine, both in the international edition and in the European edition, as well as a peer-reviewer of the official SFPE and NFPA magazine “Fire Technology” published by Springer.
As part of the renewal of the institutional offices of the association, the role of President is assumed by Ing. Luciano Nigro, the role of Secretary by Ing. Higinio Silvestre and the role of Treasurer of Eng. Massimo De Bettin.
