In the last weeks, TECSA S.r.l. gave a course on industrial safety to an important chemical company in Italy.
The main purpose of the course was to provide an analysis from the point of view of safety, environment, flexibility and quality of the products in the ethoxylation processes, including also the storage and handling part of the ethylene oxide. The first session of the course was devoted to the problems of storage and handling of ethylene oxide, also by discussing and exchanging information about on-site operations. The second session was dedicated to the ethoxylation processes, highlighting the criticalities and peculiarities of the various technologies adopted.
