Luca Fiorentini, Director of TECSA, has been appointed ‘voting member as special expert’ of the NFPA ‘Spaceports (SPA-AAA)’ technical committee responsible for NFPA 461 ‘Standard for Fire Protection and Life Safety at Spaceport and Support Facilities’.
This further enhances our participation in NFPA activities. We would like to remind you that Mr Fiorentini is also a member of:
- ‘Fire risk assessment methods (FIR-AAA)’ committee responsible for standards 550 ‘Fire safety concept tree’ and 551 ‘Guide for the evaluation of fire risk assessments’ (since 2008)
- ‘Fire reporting (FIP-AAA)’ technical committee responsible for standard 901 ‘Standard classification of incident reporting and fire protection data’ (since 2014)
- Technical committees ‘Industrial and Storage Occupancies’ (BLD-IND & SAF-IND Commissions) responsible for standards 5000 ‘Building construction and safety code’ and 101 ‘Life Safety Code’ (since 2019)
