Luca Fiorentini, Director of TECSA S.r.l., took part in the opening of the CINEAS 2026-2027 academic year, marked by the award of the medal to the best student of the 2025-2026 edition of the Master in Fire Investigations. The ceremony also celebrated the launch of the new edition of the Master and 40 years of CINEAS activity.
Mr. Fiorentini is a lecturer on the Master programme, which, in keeping with the CINEAS spirit, also gives its faculty a valuable opportunity for exchange and professional growth. As Prof. Ortolani remarked during the event, learning never stops.
In his address, Prof. Enrico Zio highlighted how today’s complexity and emerging challenges call for rigorous risk assessment and answers that can no longer be postponed, particularly regarding the risks associated with new technologies and strategic infrastructure, which more than ever operate as interoperable systems across multiple domains.
This participation reflects TECSA’s commitment to specialist training and to promoting a culture of safety. That commitment is put into practice every day by MFC Forensic, TECSA’s forensic division dedicated to fire and explosion investigation, which applies in the field the same expertise shared in the classroom.
A limited number of places are still available for the new edition of the Master.
